Jordan Kilpatrick Therapy / The Brotherhood

For lots of men, therapy feels like a dirty word

But bottling things up isn't working anymore, is it?

...you're here because you're feeling stuck and want things to change, right?

Good.

Because we're going to help you do it.

When bottling things up stops working, it usually shows up like this:

You shut down or lose your temper faster than you want to... then regret it later.

You rely on bad habits or distractions to cope, and they're starting to make a mess of things.

Your relationship feels tense or unstable, and you're not sure how to fix it.

What most men want instead:

Feel steady — calm reactions, clearer thinking, more control

Show up better — as a partner, father, and man you respect

Repair connection — without walking on eggshells

If this resonates, we can help.

Apply to get started. No waitlist.

Meet Our All-Men Team

We’re building one of the only therapy teams in the country focused exclusively on men.

Our therapists are licensed professionals — and men who’ve done their own work. We don’t pretend to be perfect. That’s exactly why we can help.

Rage. Shame. Grief. A crushing fear that I’d never trust anyone again.

I had no idea what to do with any of it.

So, I did what most guys do. I bottled it up and numbed it out.

Gaming.

Weed.

Porn.

Alcohol.

Anything to escape.

But these were the things had been messing up my relationship in the first place.

I needed real answers. A way to pull myself out of this mess for good.

So I searched - books, podcasts, therapy, anything that would help me get my shit together...

... and I kept coming up empty.

Nothing clicked. Nothing felt like a full solution.

On the brink of giving up, I looked in the one place I never wanted to go.

My own feelings.

Turns out, that's right where the solution was.

Better yet, I also accidentally found simple, step-by-step solutions that actually dealt with them!

For the first time, the constant anger and worries faded. The bad habits disappeared. And I finally could show up like a real man in my relationships.

I finally felt clear, confident, and in control.

Over the next few years, I mastered my emotions, created my dream relationship with my now-wife, and spend my days as a psychotherapist helping other men.

I love getting to share what I've learned with other men and watch them completely transform their lives too.

Trauma. That dirty word that clings to so many.

Childhood experiences early in life left me scared, angry, and unable to process emotions in a healthy way.

The pain increased, and by the age of 16 I was dropped out of school and relying on escapism through video games, which escalated to alcohol and drug abuse.

... Loneliness,

Confusion,

Fear,

Hurt,

All ran my life.

Handfuls of medications left me numb, secluded, and sedentary. Unable to find energy to even get out of bed, weight gain of over 140 lbs followed.

Contemplation of suicide not only became a plan, but a goal.

One final attempt at finding myself followed, and I took the step to talk to a counsellor about my pain.

That single connection turned out to be life changing.

I was encouraged to connect with my emotions, my community, and myself again.

I’m now able to be the man, father, and partner that I want to be, and have the honour of working with other men to help them accomplish the same.

Trauma wasn't something I learned about in a classroom.
It was something I witnessed.

Witnessing the war in Syria firsthand, I was exposed early to what fear, instability, and survival do to people—how it shapes the way you think, the way you react, and the way you relate to others.

And like many men, I learned how to adapt.
Stay composed.
Push things down.
Keep moving forward.

From the outside, it can look like strength.
But underneath, it's a different story.

Because what isn't processed doesn't disappear.

As Carl Jung put it:
"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate."

I've seen that play out—in my own life, and in the lives of the men I've worked with.
Patterns repeating.
Reactions that don't make sense.
Relationships breaking down without fully understanding why.

That's what led me deeper into this work.
Not just to understand trauma—but to actually process it.

Through my training in counselling psychology, and approaches like EMDR and parts-based therapy, I learned how to work with what's underneath the surface—where these patterns actually live.

Now, I help other men do the same.

My work focuses on trauma, emotional regulation, and relationships—helping you understand what's driving your behaviors so you can take back control in a real, lasting way.

Because real change doesn't come from pushing things down.
It comes from facing them—and understanding what's been running in the background all along.

When You Master Your Emotions

Here's What Happens When You Master Your Emotions

What do you think your life would be like if you felt positive 96% of the time?

Hell, what if it was even just 70% of the time?

--

Well, let me tell you what happens:

You gain emotional mastery and start to feel good about yourself.

Your bad habits disappear because you’re no longer needing them to cope.

Your relationships improve because when you give positive feelings to it, things get better.

With so much going good, you do good work, crush your goals, and your career soars.

People start to respect and look up to you.

Finally, you feel so good that you start to give back to others and find a deep meaning and purpose in life.

--

I teach my clients a step by step system to master their emotions

so they can fix bad habits and improve their relationships.

I am proud to say that I get fast and meaningful results.

We take action, and make shit happen.

As a result, I don't have much space for new clients - but if you're on this page, it means I have a spot open.

We cap our caseloads so there’s no waitlist. When you start, you start right away with consistent sessions.

You won’t be stuck here forever

Our goal is to help you get results and move on without us as fast as possible.

But deep down, I knew.

These were the very things had been messing up my relationship in the first place.

I needed real answers. A way to pull myself out of this mess for good.

So I searched - books, podcasts, therapy, anything that would help me get my shit together...

... and I got pieces of the puzzle here and there but nothing clicked.

Nothing felt like a real solution I could use.

On the brink of giving up, I looked in one last place. The place I never wanted to go.

My own mind.

What I discovered changed everything.

I found the root causes in my emotions.

Better yet, I also accidentally found simple, step-by-step solutions that actually dealt with them!

For the first time, I understood what needed to be done.

And when I did it, everything changed.

The constant anger and worry faded. The bad habits disappeared. And I finally could show up like a real man in my relationships.

I finally felt clear, confident, and in control.

Even cooler? It didn’t just work for me.

I started sharing what I learned, and soon, I saw other men completely transform their lives too.

I became a Psychotherapist and realized just how much men everywhere are struggling in silence.

And I'm putting a stop to that.

Here's Proof

I study emotions because I realized they're the secret to the life you want.

At first, I wasn't going to share this... but you should only work with someone who has the results you want.

So here are the results of what I discovered and teach.

(This is my personal, raw emotion-tracking data from the day I'm writing this)

Would You Like to Feel More Like This Too?

What I've learned as a psychotherapist is that most men (myself included) were never taught how to handle emotions.

So we do the next best thing - we numb, bottle up, and avoid.

We use bad habits to avoid the pain.

Then things build and build, until they explode, messing up our lives.

--

It's not your fault. But it is your responsibility.

What no one told you is that the way out is THROUGH the emotions you've been avoiding.

When you do this, the bad stuff goes away, and the good stuff comes forward.

This makes you feel good (just look at my data).

Got Questions? We've Got Answers!

How much do sessions cost?

Sessions are $185/hr.

Where are you located / where do you service?

We are primarily an online company and service all of Ontario!

In-person therapy services are offered on a case-by-case basis and are not always available depending on therapist availability.

Will my sessions be covered by insurance?

In most cases, yes. Many insurance plans cover psychotherapy services but it’s recommended to check with your insurance provider to determine the coverage.

Note that OHIP does not cover Psychotherapy or Social Work services. However, counselling with a Registered Psychotherapist or Social Worker is tax-deductible (yay!).

We will always provide you with receipts after sessions so your insurance company can reimburse you.

If you're unsure how insurance works, ask us in our consult and I’ll help you navigate this!

How long will it take for me to feel better/get results?

Many of our clients notice positive changes after just a few sessions. Our goal is to give you tools you can use right away to start feeling calm and in control.

What will I get from sessions?

Every session you will leave with actionable steps and homework so you make progress 7 days a week!

What happens during the free consult?

We’ll chat about what’s been challenging for you, how you’d like to feel, and whether our approach is the right fit for your goals. No pressure, no obligations :)

Do I need to have past experience with therapy?

Not at all!

Whether this is your first time or you’ve tried therapy before, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you through the process.

Do I need to commit to a certain number of sessions?

Not at all. We’ll work together at your pace, and you can decide how many sessions you’d like to book.

Some people find a few sessions are enough, while others prefer ongoing support.

Are sessions in-person or online?

Both, depending on your location and our availability!

How is your approach different?

I focus on actionable steps and proven tools to help you feel better fast, rather than just talking about problems. You’ll leave each session with something practical you can use in real life.

What types of issues do you specialize in?

I specialize in helping people manage difficult emotions. This often takes the form of stress, anxiety, worry, overthinking, anger, and self-confidence / low self-esteem.

What types of therapy do you practice?

Short answer: DBT, MBCT, ACT, MCT, Narrative Therapy, SFBT, Existential Therapy

Long answer: (Jargon warning, nerds only!)

I integrate many therapeutic modalities with own experiences. I first seek the truth through experience, then I match and combine my findings with researched methodologies, rather than blindly following what other people say should work.

We've got to walk the walk, not just talk the talk.

The modalities I primarily follow are generally categorized as third-wave cognitive therapies: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Existential Therapy.

I also generally am quite educational and philosophical, while heavily focused on action. Where applicable, I teach my 6-step system for managing tough emotions without medications, called Emotion Hacking.

What if I don’t feel comfortable sharing everything right away?

That’s totally fine. We’ll go at your pace, and you’re always in control of what we talk about.

What if I don’t know where to start?

That’s completely normal! Many people feel unsure about what to say at first.

It’s my job to guide the conversation so we can uncover what’s really going on and how to address it.

What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t work?

That’s okay! Every therapist and approach is different and it's important you find the right fit.

My style is action-oriented and focused on real-world tools, so you’ll leave each session with practical steps you can use to feel better fast.

If that sounds like it might even MAYBE be a fit, book your consult today and let's find out!
